Welcome

South Beauregard Recreation District 2 welcomes you to the Parks at the Pass…a recreational venue for the entire family.  Visit our Purple Heart Walking Park & Fishing Pond, playground  on the East Side and our ball fields, multi-purpose field, concession stand, playground and  Community Center on the West side.

Stroll, walk or run on our 1/2 mile path at the Walking Park. Fish for channel catfish or seasonal trout in our Fishing Pond. Schedule your team’s games on our ball fields or multi-purpose field.  The Community Center is available to host your family reunion, class reunion, birthday party, wedding reception or other group/community events.

Future Projects

The South Beauregard Recreation District No 2 is striving to provide our parish residents and visitors with more family-oriented venues, so here are some upcoming projects:

On the West Side:

  • An outdoor basketball pavilion with additional restrooms
  • Sunshade for the playground
  • Two more ball fields
  • More bleachers
  • Picnic Tables
  • Splash Pad

The Purple Heart Walking Park

  • Additional paved walkways to the playground area
